Ingredients
•pizza dough
•2 tbsp. olive oil
•1 can diced tomatoes
•1 jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
•1 tsp. chopped garlic
•1/2 tsp. salt
•1/4 tsp. black pepper
•1-1/2 cups shredded asiago cheese
•4 oz. fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
Instructions
1.At least one hour before making pizzas, prepare the tomato sauce. Measure the olive oil into a 9x13 baking dish. Pour in the diced tomatoes and juice. Add to the tomatoes, along with the chopped garlic.
2.Place in the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring until most of the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is thick. Let cool.
