For some people, dessert would not be dessert without nuts. So, you are going to create a nutty sundae.
What you need: An assortment of your favorite nuts, 1 tbs butter, ¼ cup brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, whip cream, cherries, and sundae toppings like caramel and chocolate.
In a small sauce pan melt butter and sugar. Add in the assortment of small chunks of nuts. Coat with the sugar, then let cool, but continue to stir it as you let it cool or you will have one large chunk of sugared nut. Put a layer of ice cream in a sundae dish, then nuts, then caramel or chocolate sauce, then repeat. Top with whip cream and a cherry, serve this fun favorite.
